1.  What is most important in creating a hairstyle that best satisfies a customer?

2.  For a customer to receive a haircut that they are satisfied with, the hairdresser must become familiar with face shapes and how to determine which face shape is for every customer.

3.  Face shape is important to hairdressers because before a hairdresser can even begin cutting hair, they must first think about how to shape the hair. If you have a certain shape, then a certain haircut is for you. Unless of course, you are lucky enough to have an oval shaped head. Other then that, others have to settle for haircuts that would best compliment their face shape.

Getting haircuts that aren't for your face shape will not compliment you, or will make you feel less attractive then you really are, thus leading to an unsatisfied haircut.

Face shape is the foundation so that hairdressers can even think of what to do with your hair off the bat.
