a.  My topic is hairdressing. I chose hairdressing because I've always loved doing hair, whether its my hair or someone else's. My favorite part of the job is how thankful people are when you make them feel and look beautiful so I  know I would love to do this as a career.

• iPoly Citizen:  I plan to help Drama Club by doing the hair and makeup in their productions. This relates to me improving as a iPoly citizen because i'm participating in school activities.
• Effective Communicator:  I plan to learn from my mentors and take in what advice and what they have to say. This will make me more effective as a communicator because I will learn how to learn patience and how to talk with people normally, and not be so shy.
• Effective Learner:  I plan to learn from my mentors and take in what advice and what they have to say. This will make me more effective as a learner because I will be able to experiment and explore my project on my own instead of having someone help me with everything.
• Effective User of Technology: I plan to use hairdryers, curling irons, and hair straighteners. This will make me more effective as a user of technology because I will learn how to use these tools to create a beautiful hairstyle.
